While the shutter glasses 3D system supports excellent resolution and 3D effect, the shutters reduce the monitor's brightness to 1/10 of regular displays. However, W2363D solved the brightness problem by changing the panel's electrode from aluminum to copper. As a result, the open rate is increased while the line width is reduced, thus brightness is increased from 300cd to 400cd.
